EDUCATIONAL GRANT TO RIPARIANT PRESERVE
Full Description:
Qwest has provided a $5,500 educational grant to Gilbert's Riparian Preserve, allowing thousands of students to learn about science and nature through traveling exhibits. The preserve uses educational activities and hands-on learn in the traveling exhibits to teach students about insects, dinosaurs, Arizona's ancient people and the ecology of the Sonoran Desert. The Qwest for Education grant focuses on enriching the lives of children by supporting solid educational programs for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.
