“Magnifico!” You can’t help but shout it out at Mesquite High School’s annual dinner concert. The MHS Bands and Orchestras will present “Viva Italia!” on Wednesday, March 1st, with seatings at 5:45 and 7:15pm. Dinner will be served by Carrabba’s Italian grill, featuring Chicken Marsala, Penne Pasta, Salad, Bread, and Beverage. Dessert is none other than the famous Cathy’s Rum Cake. Live music is presented by the Strolling Strings and Jazz Bands. Adding excitement to the evening is a Silent Auction and raffle. Advance purchase tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for children 12 and under. Ticket prices go up to $15 and $10 at the door. Mesquite’s Symphony Orchestra will be participating in a clinic at Harvard University in April. The Mesquite Marching Band has been invited to march in next year’s Waikiki Holiday Parade. The public is encouraged to enjoy an evening of fine dining and delicious food while helping these groups reach their goals.
